OSCAR Downstream enters the Statista - Financial Times ranking of 300 European champions with organic revenue growth from 2013 to 2023

OSCAR Downstream, the only Romanian company in the Top 5 on the Romanian fuel distribution market, has been included in the first ranking by Statista with the support of the Financial Times of the 300 European champions reporting organic revenue growth over the last decade (2013 - 2023).

Thus, OSCAR Downstream ranks 291 in the global ranking and is the only Romanian company in the ranking dedicated to the Energy and Utilities industry.

"We are extremely honored by this validation that goes beyond Romania," says Nicolae Bănică, CEO of OSCAR Downstream. "The Financial Times and its research partner Statista are two prestigious institutions for the international business environment, and this ranking - the first to take into account long-term organic growth - is an important sustainability benchmark for the entrepreneurial environment in Europe. We are pleased that Romania is represented in this ranking, even more so in a strategic and competitive industry such as Energy. For more than 23 years, OSCAR Downstream has been demonstrating that it can perform on the fuel distribution market through a culture focused on quality, professionalism and innovation".

The recognition in the Statista - Financial Times ranking joins the important validations that OSCAR Downstream has obtained over the years, the most recent being the Deloitte Romania Best Managed Companies 2024 certification, for management excellence analyzed against international best practices, and the Randstad 2023 - Most Attractive Employer in the Oil & Gas industry, received for the second year in a row.
